In the interest of historical correctness, the following four images are offered in support of the Mpact PCI add-in Multimedia Board Model Name as "Chromatic Mpact Blazer."

In all of the Chromatic documentation in xa3d's possession, of both electronic and paper media, the term Jabil is referneced only once, in print form. This reference is located on the back side of the cover page of the Chromatic Mpact Blazer Multimedia Card Installation Guide v1.4. The context of this text appears only as specific reference
to a Compliance Information Statement regarding a declaration of the FCC certification for Mpact Blazer boards of the three variations.

(Note that this same reference is not included in Chromatic Mpact Blazer Multimedia Card Installation Guide v2.0.)

What is certain is that Jabil Circuit Inc, as the Contract Electronics Manufacturer for Chromatic, included a silkscreened logo on both the Blazer Board and the short Expansion Card. Also included is the company name on the FCC compliance Labels on the back side of the Blazer Board denoting the Compliance Applicant. Other than the text CHROMATIC MPACT silkscreened just above the MPACT chip, there are no other demarcations or labels that specify the Board as "Blazer," save for the Jabil FCC label specifying the Model as Blazer. It is also known that Jabil built Blazer boards for both Chromatic Reasearch Inc. (deploying the Toshiba R Series chip) and for DSystems (Deuretzbacher GmbH & Co Systems KG, deploying the LG Semicon R Series chip) as per the Jabil compliance declaration noted above, and as is commonplace when building OEM product, specific brand markings such as Model names or numbers are not included in the silkscreen art.

The lack of labels clearly specifying Chromatic Mpact Brand and Model Names and Numbers, make it difficult to identify or associate their products as they age and become more obsure.
